My Journey...

Professional Background

With an extensive background in HR, specifically in strategic HR development, I excel in areas such as Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Performance Management, and Career Management. My career spans various industries, including Telecom, where I thrived in agile, fast-paced environments, and had to excel under pressure. After immigrating, I transitioned to the Insurance sector, and I am currently leveraging my expertise in the Retail industry. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in managing, coaching, and developing teams in managerial roles, focusing not only on enhancing the bottom line but also on empowering employees to achieve new heights in their careers.

New Life in Canada

I'm a newcomer to Canada, now a Vancouverite in the Beautiful British Columbia. The immigration journey has been challenging, involving understanding various cultures, finding a job, adapting to new work structures, and managing new social and work-related interactions.

Coaching and self-coaching have been my refuge, helping me cope and leverage my strengths amidst constant change. I realize now how valuable it would have been to have a coach during this transition. Having settled in a bit better, I am excited to offer my coaching services (Life Coaching, Career Coaching and Leadership Coaching) to help others navigate their own journeys.

Education

I started with a B.A. and M.A. in English Translation and Interpretation, and through private tutoring for ESL students and adult learners, I discovered my passion for helping people navigate their challenges. This and the opportunity to change careers (from Legal to HR) at the organization (i.e. from translator to a Soft Skills Facilitator) led me to pursue a second Master’s in Human Resources Management, where I delved into the science of human resources and corporate interactions. HR became my life ever since. A few years ago, I learned about coaching as a powerful tool to unlock inner strengths. This inspired me to earn my Certified Coach certificate from Coaching Ways Academy. I have benefited immensely from coaching in becoming better and advancing not only in my career, but at life. Now, I am ready and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and realize your full potential. One thing is for sure: irrespective of any outcome, coaching is a rewarding experience.
